Mookie’s Big League Bowl

I was approached by the amazing team at Mookie’s Big League Bowl to design all promotional items, collateral and graphics needed to make this fundraiser (hosted by then Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts) a homerun. I was provided with the logo, but otherwise had free reign to design the visual identity for the event around that logo. The event raised funds to help improve the lives of children and families in New England. In attendance were local celebrities and other members of the Boston Red Sox team.

This wonderful event was previously hosted by Clay Buchholz, and when he was traded to the Phillies, Mookie Betts took over hosting. I had designed the event collateral and promotions for the previous two years of Buchholz’s bowling fundraiser events, and although the new event was a bit different therefore required some different deliverables from when Buchholz hosted, I had direct insight into what had been successful and what could use some tweaking this time around.
